6. 1982 - 30-year-old Michael Fagan brakes into Buckingham Palace, and spendst 10 minutes talking with Queen Elizabeth II in her bedroom before being arrested.

8. 1991 - The closure of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International causes up to 20 local UK councils to lose up to £30m

10. 1997 - Boxer Mike Tyson is temporarily banned from boxing for biting Evander Holyfield's ear
