Liverpool have rejected a £30 million bid from Arsenal for star striker Luis Suarez. Suarez has been linked with a move away from Anfield throughout the summer and the club has refused to comment on Arsenal’s bid, insisting the player is not for sale ahead of the new season.
Chelsea will switch their attention to signing Christian Benteke from Aston Villa, with Edinson Cavani looking set to join Paris Saint-Germain. PSG tabled a bigger offer to Napoli for Cavani, which seems to have prompted Chelsea into taking a look at Villa’s Belgian sensation.

Warren Gatland says the British and Irish Lions have what it takes to beat New Zealand in 2017. The Lions thumped Australia 41-16 over the weekend to seal a 2-1 series win over the southern hemisphere side which sets them up nicely to take on the All Blacks in four years.
