European transfer talk: Featuring Bernard, Jovetic and Ljajic

News involving a former Manchester United player and Chelsea, Aston Villa, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham targets.

Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Bernard looks likely to go to Porto if he decides to leave Atletico Mineiro this summer. The young Brazilian playmaker has just played a part in the successful Confederations Cup triumph and is now turning his attention to his future. He previously said that Porto did appeal to him due to the language barrier not being an issue and his agent said today:

‘’The negotiations with Dortmund and Tottenham have cooled due to Bernard's high asking price, and he won't go to any of these clubs.’’

The agent of the Fiorentina duo Stevan Jovetic and Adem Ljajic is in Madrid today; on official business for both players. Both the Montenegrin and Serbian had excellent campaigns for La Viola last season and that has not gone unnoticed around Europe. It is believed he will speak to Real Madrid about Jovetic and Atletico about Ljajic.

Thiago Silva’s agent has told Barcelona to put up or shut up this summer. There has been plenty of talk that Barca could try snatch the Brazilian captain away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer. But Paulo Tonietto has been very clear on the matter:

‘’It has been said that Tito (Vilanova) really wants to sign him and if that's the case, someone should speak up.’’

Jeremy Toulalan has confirmed his desire to leave Malaga this summer. He has grown weary of the constant upheaval at the club and the French international has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, Monaco and Rennes in recent weeks.

It is reported in France today that Moroccan international Younes Belhanda, previously linked with Aston Villa, Arsenal and Spurs, has changed his mind over his move to Dynamo Kiev. Apparently he is ready to pull the plug on the deal from Montpellier after a last minute change of heart. He was only recently unveiled as a new player alongside Dieumerci Mbokani and Jeremain Lens and there already talks on Twitter that he has done no such thing - more to come on this story I am sure.
