Liverpool are looking at Paris Saint-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho as a potential long term replacement for Jamie Carragher. Brendan Rodgers seems ready to switch his focus to his defence after adding players to the attack of the team ahead of the new season.

Recently retired Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher says Chelsea are the team to beat in the Premier League next season. Carragher reckons Chelsea have several players who could do well next season and doesn’t expect the group of teams challenging for the Premier League title to change.
