Heinrich Mkhitaryan

Transfer news from the continent including transfer targets for Liverpool, Tottenham, West Brom, Southampton and Chelsea.

Borussia Dortmund have joined the race for Liverpool target Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder is coming off the back of an excellent season in Ukraine which has led to the Armenian being linked with several big clubs. Now it seems that they have competition from the Bundesliga outfit who have made a £19.5 million bid for the player.

Inter Milan are on the verge of completing a deal for Ishak Belfodil from Parma. A deal involving a co-ownership with Italian international Antonio Cassano appears to be just days away from completion.

Mario Gomez has not agreed a move to Fiorentina; contrary to popular reports. The 27-year-old has handed in a transfer request at the Allianz Arena after losing his first-team place at the club last campaign. But no deal has yet to be finalised with any club and he will return to pre-season with Bayern Munich this week.

Hamburg have snapped up Cameroonian striker Jacques Zoua from FC Basel. The 21-year-old has been linked with West Brom in recent weeks but he decided a move to Bundesliga was better for him.

AS Roma forward Pablo Osvaldo is reportedly set to hold talks with Atletico Madrid about potentially replacing Radamel Falcao this summer. The Argentine born Italian international is expected to leave the Italian capital and is valued at €18 million. He has also stated he would like a return to La Liga.

Luca Caldirola has joined Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen. The Inter Milan and Italian under-21 international has signed a deal believed to be in the region of €2 million. He follows fellow Italian under-21 international Giulio Donati in a move to Germany; after he joined Bayer Leverkusen last week.

Dejan Stankovic is leaving Inter Milan. He is believed to want a stay but the club want to let him go in order to release his massive wages at the club in order to aid the clubs own transfer activity.
