With Thiago Alcantara tipped to join Manchester United, what of his brother Thiago?
Thiago Alcantara is the player the whole of Europe is talking about, with Manchester United hoping to sign up the Spaniard.
The prospect of first team football at Old Trafford as opposed to biding his time at Barcelona is clearly tempting him, with a release clause in his contract taking the decision out of his club's hands.
The one loose end his switch to England would call into question is the future of his younger brother, Rafa Alcantara, simply known as Rafinha.
It has been suggested in the press that Thiago would love Rafinha to follow him to England, with Everton one possible loan destination and Celta Vigo another.
But Barcelona are not entirely happy with the current situation, because Rafinha's contract expires next summer.
They want to loan him out next season, but not before he signs a new extension, worried that if he spends a year away from the club he will get a taste for it and take the opportunity to sign elsewhere as a free agent.
So Marca has reported that Barcelona are now currently working on renewing his current contract and are currently locked in negotiations with the player.
The two parties are said to be in disagreement over a stipulation allowing Barcelona to send the player on loan at any given time, something Rafinha is unsure about.
You can bet the 20-year-old will not find a release clause in his contract weighted around games played, which has handed his elder brother the opportunity to leave the club this summer.
If he really does want to follow his brother, Rafinha has an opportunity to let his contract wind down and hope to earn a switch to England. If he dares risk angering the Barcelona hierarchy.
