Justin Rose withdraws from the AT&T National

Winning a major takes it toll, and after playing last weeks Travelers Championship Justin Rose takes a break.

US Open Champion Justin Rose got a lot of credit last week, when he played the Travelers Championship, just a few days after winning his first major, but he won't be playing this weeks AT&T National on the PGA Tour.

Monday Rose withdrew because of fatigue after he tied for 13th last week in Hartford. Rose did win the AT&T National in 2010, but the last few weeks have been mentally and physically demanding, and no one will hold the decision against the Englishman.

That means the tournament not only lost Tiger Woods this year, but also the latest major winner.
