Michael Dawson has spoken today of how important it is that the club take advantage of their third game of the season with Arsenal to achieve an early victory over their rivals.

After two 5-2 losses the last time Dawson’s team visited the Emirates, he now believes that he and his team mates can make those poor performances a distant memory.

“We know what that game means to everyone. The Emirates hasn’t been great for us recently but that’s history now, hopefully we’ll go there early in the season and get a positive result.”

Dawson also spoke of his respect for promoted Crystal Palace, who will play their first Premier League game in August against Spurs.

“They weren’t in the best of form but turned that around with a win just before the play-offs and carried that momentum into the play-offs.”

“I’m sure they will be looking forward to their first match back in the Premier League after a few years away.”

Brazilian striker Leandro Damiao, who has been a Tottenham transfer target for a number of seasons, spoke today about the transfer speculation surrounding him and revealed that Andre Villas-Boas and Spurs had not yet approached his club Internacional with an offer.

“I will leave Internacional one day but there is no offer today and maybe there won't be any tomorrow. I am calm."

On HITC today we feature Tottenham’s potential advances on 18-year-old Belgian midfielder Junior Malanda, who has enjoyed a brilliant season with Zulte Waregem.

After playing 37 games in the Jupiler Pro League and scoring three goals, the Belgian Under-21 international has attracted scouts at Tottenham and Everton.

Belgian newspaper Nieuwsblad published an article today saying that an offer of £3 million was imminent, so the talented teenager may be gracing White Hart Lane soon.

Emmanuel Adebayor has been showing off his dance moves at a recent charity ball hosted by Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien.

The Spurs striker took on Michael Ballack and Djibril Cisse but it is clear from the YouTube clip that the 29-year-old is far more talented on the dance floor than his competitiors.
