Arsenal target's agent: It's complicated...

The agent of reported Arsenal target Tin Jedjav has admitted he does not know where his client's future lies.

The name Tin Jedjav may have been a new one on a number of Arsenal supporters prior to the past 24 hours.

That was before The Sun exclusively revealed the Gunners had been lining up the Croatian teenager.

They described Jedjav as the 'most talented player to emerge from the country since Luka Modric', adding that Arsene Wenger is lining up a £6 million bid.

Jedvaj had been due to sign for Italian club Roma from Dinamo Zagreb prior to the Gunners registering their interest, with the transfer now in limbo.

His agent, Zoran Ban, has been talking in the past few hours about developments, admitting he does not know what the future holds for his player.

Speaking to Italian radio station Radio Mana Mana, he said: "He is 17 years old, but he plays like 25. He has great quality, is strong physically and mentally. has a secure future.

"Until yesterday he was a step away from signing with Rome, then I do not know what happened with the president of Dinamo.

"It is on the basis of 5 million euro. Roma have made ‚Äč‚Äčthis offer, you should request the President of Dinamo asked how much money more (he wants). The boy is interested in coming to Rome. And they (are) first team that is interested, then came Milan and Arsenal."

Arsenal's proposed £6 million bid would blow Roma's offer out of the water, so it is little wonder Dinamo Zagreb are having second thoughts. AC Milan are seemingly another club in the hunt who are complicating matters.

Even if Arsenal have not submitted a bid, the Sun's report about a £6 million offer might just have caused Dinamo to place the deal with Roma on ice, to wait and see if that improved offer is incoming.

When a player's agent admits he is in the dark, you can be sure it's complicated and this one certainly appears that way.

Jedvajj certainly appears a quality player, and it is reported by The Sun that he is a younger, cheaper alternative to Ashley Williams. How much time and effort the Gunners invest in the Croatian may just depend on how the Williams discussions pan out.

Who would you prefer, Williams, or young prospect Jedvaj?
