European transfer talk: Featuring Gonalons, Nainggolan and Deulofeu

Top of Carlo Ancelotti’s hypothetical wish-list at Real Madrid is Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal. The Juventus player has just had an outstanding season and the Italian would like to bring him to the Spanish capital; should he finally leave PSG this summer.

Valencia have joined the queue of clubs pursuing Barcelona forward Gerard Deulofeu this summer. The 19-year-old had an excellent campaign with the Barcelona B team last season and clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla, and Real Sociedad have already declared their interest in the player. Now Valencia could be interested in the deal; with the potential for the teenager to be used as leverage in a deal for Jeremy Mathieu.

Lucas Biglia has suggested that Lazio are ‘perfect’ for him. The Argentine international midfielder is expected to complete a move from Anderlecht once he returns from international duty with Albiceleste.

Northern Ireland international Kyle Lafferty has joined Palermo. The former Burnley and Rangers forward has followed Gennaro Gattuso from FC Sion to Sicily this summer and will play in Serie B following the clubs relegation from the top-flight.

Maxime Gonalons’ agent has confirmed that Napoli have been in touch with him about the services of his client. The French international is currently Lyon captain but he has been linked with several moves this summer. His agent stopped short of suggesting he wanted a move.

Inter Milan are ready to make a move for Radja Nainggolan this summer. It is believed they will sell Alfred Duncan to fund the transfer while Antonio Nocerino is also being courted from local rivals AC Milan.

Lyon are on course to wrap up a deal for Valenciennes defender Gael Danic by the end of the week. The 31-year-old defender confirmed he will be making the move in order to play Champions League football for the first time.

Fiorentina are set to go after St Etienne goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier this summer. The club are seeking a replacement for Emiliano Viviano and see the Frenchman as the perfect fit.
