Chelsea have agreed a £18million fee with Bayer Leverkusen for forward Andre Schurrle, who will complete his move to Stamford Bridge after agreeing personal terms and undertaking a medical. Schurrle been expected to sign for some time, and the deal was finally agreed after Leverkusen signed Heung-Min Son as a replacement for the 22-year-old.
Schurrle could be followed to Stamford Bridge by Marco Van Ginkel, after Ajax admitted they could not compete with Chelsea for the player. The £8.4million rated youngster is expected to decide on his future shortly after the Under-21 European Championship.
"Winning the Champions League, FA Cup and Europa League was great - but I really want to win the Premier League title next season,” he said.
"If we start well, I think we can do it. We have a great squad and fantastic supporters behind us, so hopefully we can do it.

One forward they are apparently lining up is Edinson Cavani, but the Uruguayan’s mother, Berta Gomez, has said that so far the striker is in talks with Manchester City and Real Madrid, but not Chelsea. Chelsea are expected to step up their interest in the next couple of weeks.
Cristiano Ronaldo has put Chelsea, PSG and Manchester United on red alert by taking to Twitter to deny reports that he had agreed a new contract at Real Madrid. Ronaldo’s tweet read:"All the news about my renewal with Real Madrid are false."
Eliaquim Mangala, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea, has insisted he is completely focussed on next season with Porto. Jose Mourinho is apparently keen to sign the 22-year-old, possibly as a replacement for David Luiz.
West Ham would reportedly like to bring Demba Ba back to Upton Park on loan next season if the Senegalese striker is deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. Ba only joined Chelsea in January, but could find himself well down the pecking order if Chelsea sign a new forward and keep Romelu Lukaku at the club next season.
