Madoff Says Even His Prison Guards Ask For Investment Advice

Bernie Madoff

The biggest felon coming out of the financial crisis, Bernie Madoff, has been speaking out a lot to the media recently, including MarketWatch.

Why now, you might ask ?

It seems that after 5 years in prison, Madoff has decided that he should not be the only one to blame for committing the biggest Ponzi scheme in history and is willing to speak to anyone and everyone about what happened.

In two hours spent with Madoff, at the medium security prison in Butner, North Carolina, he was down-to-earth, pleasant and very congenial.

Wearing beige pants and a shirt with the same colored belt, part of the prison uniform, Madoff looked good and very healthy for a man who just turned 75 in April. He did not have the signs of a man who was distraught and said he was fortunate to end up at the Butner facility, which can be described as similar to a camp with barbed wires.
