You might not be able to judge a book by its cover, but you can sure tell a lot about a (male) banker from where he works...
Although our researcher is unable to give you a run-down on every financial markets employee, she does have an intimate knowledge of several firms by virtue of the relationships she has enjoyed with members of their staff over the years.
First off, the judging criteria: grooming, personality, net worth, intelligence, ambition, loyalty, honesty, respect and physical attributes.
And here's how the men at UBS were rated (out of 10, 10 being the highest mark):
Grooming: 9 - very well groomed. Looking the part is highly important to these guys
Personality: 7 - although they have a great smile, they can treat life a tad too seriously; can sometimes come across as a little stand-offish
Net Worth: 7 - improving
Intelligence: 6 - what they lack in pure brain-power, these guys make up for by sheer hard work
Ambition: 7 - not overly ambitious, although UBS men always aim to do the difficult jobs well
Loyalty / honesty: 9 - have a tremendous sense of loyalty to their work colleagues and domestic partners
Respect: 6 - can become a little self-obsessed, and have been known to forget important birthdays and anniversaries
Physical attributes: 8 - fine looking men who usually stand out in a crowd
