You might not be able to judge a book by its cover, but you can sure tell a lot about a (male) banker from where he works...
Although our researcher is unable to give you a run-down on every financial markets employee, she does have an intimate knowledge of several firms by virtue of the relationships she has enjoyed with members of their staff over the years.
First off, the judging criteria: grooming, personality, net worth, intelligence, ambition, loyalty, honesty, respect and physical attributes.
And here's how the men at JPMorgan were rated (out of 10, 10 being the highest mark):
Grooming: 9 - always well turned out, these guys take real pride in their appearance
Personality: 6 - somewhat judgemental; can sometimes look down on the rest of society
Net Worth: 8 - they always appear well off, even though some of them might not make as much as you'd think
Intelligence: 7 - top end of average, although not as clever as they think they are
Ambition: 9 - extremely ambitious. If they don't get what they want, they soon move on
Loyalty / honesty: 6 - if you want loyalty, get an intern
Respect: 7 - these men often have rather old-fashioned views about their women; they like them at home looking after the kids
Physical attributes: 7 - if only they all looked like Jamie Dimon; sadly, they don't
Total points score - 59 (73.7%)
