Guillermo Varela completed his move to Manchester United today, becoming the first signing of the David Moyes era at the club.
Moyes is expected to continue spending through the summer, given an as yet unspecified spending fund thought to dwarf the kind of funds he had at his disposal at Everton.
It allows him to secure the type of players he always wanted to acquire, and was previously unable to.
One of the players he made a move for last year was Real Madrid starlet Denis Cheryshev.
The Toffees had a €6 million move rejected by Los Merengues for the talented left-winger back in November.
With Nani set to depart and doubts remaining over Ashley Young's fitness and suitability for the club, Moyes may be tempted to renew a bid for the Russian.
Cheryshev is currently away with Russia's under-21 squad where he has a chance to impress, after spending the majority of the season with Real'a 'B' team.
He was included in an early Champions League squad by Mourinho, an indication of how highly rated he is, before impressing with Real Madrid Castilla.
Cheryshev scored 11 goals in 34 games for the team, also providing eight assists.
At just 22-years-old he is a bright talent for the future and a player Manchester United could hope to tempt Real Madrid into a sale with a £10 million bid.
A fast dribbler with great acceleration and an eye for goal, he would add depth to United's wing area, and be a real investment for the future by the club.
Moyes is a confirmed admirer and now has the funds to pull off a transfer, so this could just be one to watch this summer.

Would he be a good addition to United?
