It's been quite a season for White City Youth, with the club's 3 teams winning 3 trophies, bagging 2 runners up slots in the league and reaching another cup final.
Founded in 1990, White City Youth has just enjoyed one of it's most successful seasons, with the Under 10s ending up with a League and Cup double, the Under 12s finishing Runners up in the league and winning the Cup, while the Under 15s only lost out on the League by one point, and were narrowly beaten 2-1 in their Cup final.
Club Secretary Jim McNally said: 'It's always good to win trophies, but it's more about helping our members improve their skills and fitness. It's great that the club has become a focal point to so many young people'.
White City Youth doesn't intent to stand still, however. Club Chairman Len Toulson said: 'We're hoping to run training for a Girls team this coming season, and also have plans to bring on an older group too'.
Patrick Lewis, the U15 coach, said: 'We were promoted 2 seasons ago, and just stayed up that first year. To come so close to winning two trophies last season was a big plus, and is down to the commitment and enthusiasm of the coaching team and the players'.
JP O'Sullivan, who coaches the U10s and U12s with Steven Szmolenski, said: 'These players have come on a lot over the last 2 years, and they are really embracing our coaching philosophy and are keen to continue to improve their technique and overall fitness levels'.
