5. 1965 - Johnny Cash entered the UK chart for the first time with a cover of Bob Dylan’s It Ain’t Me Babe

6. 1967 - The Six-Day War begins when Israel launches simultaneous attacks against Egypt and Syria

7. 1968 - Senator Robert Kennedy is shot and seriously wounded shortly after giving a victory speech in a Los Angeles hotel. He dies the next day

8. 1971 - James Taylor's You've Got A Friend is released

9. 1972 -  World leaders attend the funeral in Windsor of the former King of Britain, Edward, The Duke of Windsor, who abdicated in 1936

10. 2004 - Former U.S. President Ronald Reagan dies

11. 2008 - The funeral for fashion legend Yves Saint Laurent is held in Paris as hundreds of admirers and colleagues mourned the designer's death
