Speaking on a national radio station earlier today, midfielder Jamie O’Hara signalled his intention to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers for pastures new.
The midfielder, 26, confirmed his desire to play in the premier league once more – having fully recovered from an injury-plagued last 18 months.
Whilst one might think O’Hara would be more concerned with working alongside a new manager, and undoing some of the damage of the past two seasons, his decision to jump ship might only come as some consolation to Wolves’ fans by virtue of freeing his inflated salary from the wage bill.
Little has a player so much flattered to deceive in recent years.
More to the point, who would want a player who has played a part in two successive relegations?
Who has had significant injury problems all his career but still manages to retain his premier-league playboy arrogance?
Do you think Wolves will be better off without O'Hara?
