Leandro Damiao has continued to lead Tottenham Hotspur on a merry dance in the transfer market as he spoke about his future to the press this weekend. The Internacional striker is widely expected to follow in the footsteps of international strike partner Neymar and leave his homeland this summer; with Spurs leading the chase.

But he admitted he wanted to play Champions League football but also claimed he would move to a club if they matched his ambition.

On a side-note he went on to have a dig at England’s World Cup chances suggesting there was ‘no reason to fear’ us.

Gareth Bale continues to be linked with a summer exit; with Real Madrid taking the lead on this occasion. Reports suggest Florentino Perez is willing to smash the world transfer record by bidding £85 million for the Welshman.

It has emerged this weekend that Napoli were also considering Andre Villas-Boas as their new manager. In the end they replaced the outgoing Walter Mazzarri with interim Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez after baulking at the whopping €11.7 million buyout clause in the Portuguese coaches current Spurs deal.

Spurs have continued to be linked with Zenit St Petersburg forward Hulk. The Brazilian, who previously worked with AVB at Porto, was linked via his agent Teodoro Fonseca who suggested it was a deal that ‘could arise’.

Fiorentina are said to be keeping tabs on Spurs midfielder Scott Parker. The Italian outfit are looking to add some steel to their midfield this summer after David Pizarro agreed a move to Zenit St Petersburg and have identified many targets to fill the vacancy; including the England international.

Spurs flop David Bentley is being lined up by West Ham United; as Sam Allardyce looks to resurrect the wingers career. West Brom are also interested.
