Jose Mourinho is said to be eyeing Porto centre-back Eliaquim Mangala to strengthen Chelsea when he arrives in the summer. The Frenchman is highly rated - but the Blues are said to be unsure over Porto's £30 million asking price.
However the defender is keen on a switch, insisting it is an honour to be linked with the club.
He said: "It’s flattering because Chelsea are a great club and Mourinho is a great coach.
“I intended to stay in Porto but you never know what will happen in football, especially when big clubs are involved."
