#15 - Kevin Rose

Kevin Rose is an American Internet entrepreneur who co-founded Revision3, Digg, Pownce, and Milk.

In 2004 at 27, with a few thousand dollars and rudimentary knowledge of programming, Rose launched Digg.com, the crowdsourced news site that allowed regular people to vote on which articles were most important.

The site made him one of the leaders of the web 2.0 movement, anticipating the current incarnations of Facebook, Twitter, BuzzFeed, and pretty much every online media startup in existence.
