Sandro's injury was quite possibly the moment where it all started to go wrong for Tottenham this season.
The Brazilian midfielder had been in sensational form when his knee went, and he has been rehabilitating it ever since.
The popular midfielder appears to be progressing well back in his native Brazil, and has even been getting training from an MMA fighter.
MMA fighter Gustavo Coelho invited Sandro and his Brazilian clubmate Heurelho Gomes along for a light sparring session yesterday, with the goalkeeper himself recovering from a broken hand.
The session appeared to go well, at least with no injuries sustained - and there was only one winner - as this photo posted by Sandro on his Instagram page shows:
How important will Sandro be for Spurs next season?
