Arsenal target Higuain barely celebrates scoring for Madrid

Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain was on the scoresheet for Real Madrid last night.

Gonzalo Higuain scored his 15th league goal of the season for Real Madrid last night, in his 18th La Liga start.

There have been nine substitute appearances too, making it 15 in 27, still an excellent strike rate for the consistent Argentine forward.

After this opener against Real Sociedad, in a pulsating 3-3 draw - Higuain gave more indication he is heading for the Madrid exit door by his barely there celebration.

Higuain is a target for Arsenal and Juventus - and gave a shrug his shoulders when congratulated by teammates at the goal.

There had been reports that incoming boss Carlo Ancelotti may try to keep the 25-year-old, but reading into his celebration or lack thereof, it would be easy to draw that his mind is already elsewhere.

He has held talks with Juventus, but the Italians are yet to agree a fee with Real, with the latest this morning suggesting Mirko Vucinic could be offered to Madrid in part-exchange.
