Former Chelsea star sings and congratulates Blues on Europa League win

Former Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles has many talents... but singing?

After seeing his Fenerbahce side agonisingly defeated by Benfica in the Europa League semi-final, you couldn't have blamed Raul Meireles from ignoring the final.

And he kept quiet on it, until this week when his gloom was lifted when Fenerbahce lifted a trophy of their own, the Turkish Cup.

It meant the Portuguese star was overjoyed, and posted a long message on his Facebook page, thanking the fans of the club for sticking with the team and their 'unstoppable support.'

And amid his happiness he had a message for Chelsea, the club who sold him last summer, allowing him to bow out as a European Champion:

"I'd like to congratulate my former club Chelsea Football Club , ex-teammates and the fans for winning the Europa League. Well deserved guys."

He went onto also congratulate another former side, Porto, for their success winning the Primera Liga. There was no note for his other former club - trophyless Liverpool.

But he did have time to also post this - A video of him singing and dancing and getting thoroughly carried away in the aftermath of the Turkish Cup win.

While we think he should certainly stick to football, it's well worth a watch...
