European transfer talk: Featuring Isco, Chedjou and Vidal

Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea and Arsenal targets all feature.

Liverpool and Newcastle target Aurelien Chedjou has reportedly agreed to move to Turkish Premier League champions Galatasaray on an £8 million deal. Reports in France suggest the deal has been done for some time but the 27-year-old has been waiting to see if any other offers emerged for his services but it now seems that is not the case; with a move to Turkey now likely.

Multiple teams in the Premier League may be chasing his signature but now it has been announced that Spanish youngster Isco has opened discussions with Real Madrid about a potential move to the capital. Marca report that Real Madrid seem willing to pay the €35 million fee necessary to activate his buy-out clause. It is also reported that Isco himself said to an autograph hunter at training this morning that ‘there are talks’ between the two parties.

Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly earmarked Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal as another transfer target that could potentially be on his way to the Bernabeu. The Chilean is valued at around €40 million by Juventus and the player, nicknamed ‘Thoroughbred’ for his physical prowess, may be interested in a move.

Real Madrid continue to dominate the news today as Diego Lopez looks likely to leave the club. Despite becoming automatic first-choice since joining in January it is believed that was only due to Jose Mourinho’s public fall-out with Iker Casillas. It is believed that he wants a move to AC Milan.

Arsenal transfer target Gonzalo Higuain was reported this morning as having agreed a move to Juventus; but his agent has now denied that talks are that advanced. The two clubs are yet to decide on a fee for the player however it is believed he has agreed to sign for the club.

Former Tottenham Hotspur attacker Giovani Dos Santos looks set to leave RCD Mallorca at the end of the season. It is being reported that the Mexican will be offloaded by the struggling Balearic club with Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Real Betis all keen on his signing.

Finally and AC Milan have completed the permanent signing of Cristian Zapata. The defender spent the 2012-13 season on-loan at the San Siro from Spanish outfit Villarreal but has now agreed a permanent deal that will keep him at the club until 2016.
