Avid gamers attending the popular E3 show in LA later next month may be among the first to see what the PlayStation 4 will look like.
Sony has posted a teaser trailer, flashing images of the next-generation home console and the date and time June 10th 2013, 6:00PM.
The video, entitled “PS4 see it first at E3”, has come out just a day ahead of Microsoft's much-anticipated announcement of its next-generation home console, codenamed Durango but believed to be actually called Xbox Infinity.

Sony received some flak from fans following its PS4 unveiling event earlier this year, as the company failed to produce the actual console, instead choosing to showcase the inner-workings and new controller.
“We have not finalised the hardware yet and decided not to try to get it finished in time. Also, it's a long time from February to launch, we have to design our communication in phases,” explained Shuhei Yoshida, Sony's head of worldwide studios.
“Our focus here was to show some games and talk about the key principles – we wanted to save the unveiling of the actual console.”
