Russian reports: Abramovich has confirmed Chelsea agreement with Mourinho

It is being reported that Roman Abramovich has struck an agreement with Jose Mourinho to return to Chelsea next season.

Jose Mourinho's imminent departure from Real Madrid by mutual consent has been agreed, and it appears only a matter of time before he returns to Chelsea.

It will no doubt be billed as the 'second coming' of the Special One, and if he can attain the success of his first spell then Chelsea fans will be happier than ever, desperate to bring back to Premier League crown to London.

There is more good news on the horizon, with a report in Roman Abramovich's native Russia claiming a deal has been agreed with Mourinho to return as Chelsea boss.

The source of the reports is Russian newspaper Izvestia which claims their source as an insider at one of the many businesses which are close to Abramovich.

The report states: "Mourinho will return to the "Chelsea" at the end of this season - said the source... At the (previous) time, among them there were serious differences, but they are already forgotten. Mourinho and Abramovich - are ready to face the future together."

The rest of the report is a summary of Mourinho's recent Chelsea reign, with the anonymous source also backed up with quotes from a Russian football agent who believes the deal is also done, but bases his opinion on hearsay rather than fact.

The report was published at the same time as Real Madrid were holding their press conference announcing Mourinho's impending termination as coach, so references in it to his Madrid contract are now out of date, but overall the report appears to add up.

There is no mention of timeframe, which will have now been fast-tracked due to no complications with any pay-off to Madrid, but the very fact Mourinho and Abramovich are said to have agreed their own terms, rather than still haggling is great news for Chelsea fans.

It means the Russian is unwilling to waste any time appointing Mourinho officially and likely will do via an announcement next early month, with June 2 expected to be the manager's final day as Madrid boss.

Chelsea fans what impact will Mourinho have at Chelsea this time around?
