Which players might be playing their last game for Manchester City on Sunday?

Roberto Mancini is the first man heading out the door at Manchester City this summer, but which players should be let go by the new man in charge at the Etihad?

This summer is set to be a storm of activity at Manchester City, and there might be as many players heading out the door as coming in at the Etihad.

This could start right at the back, where Costel Pantilimon could leave in order to find first team football, especially after being dropped for the FA Cup final despite playing the rest of City’s matches in that competition.

In their defence, whilst they might consider shaking up their options on the flanks, it is more likely that City will let centre backs leave, with Joleon Lescott and Kolo Toure very likely to be on their way. Micah Richards might also join them, after an injury hit season coupled with the outstanding form of Pablo Zabaleta has limited his chances at the Etihad.

In midfield, Roberto Mancini’s acquisitions last summer might feel under pressure, with Javi Garcia perhaps already as a transfer mistake. Jack Rodwell will most likely be given another season to prove his fitness, but Gareth Barry could be moved on if a new manager decides to freshen up his midfield.

One man who is almost certain to leave is Scott Sinclair, although he might have to settle for a loan deal for one season at least.

Another interesting question is over the future of Samir Nasri, who has yet to really convince at City despite an improvement in the second half of this season. With Monaco joining PSG in Ligue 1, and both of them prepared to spend big this summer, a move back to France could be on the cards as Nasri looks to resurrect his international career.

Finally in their attack, Edin Dzeko is likely to leave, with the Bosnian perhaps being lined up as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski at Dortmund. Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero seem likely to stay, with City likely to sign at least one high profile striker to join them.
