Real Betis midfielder Benat Exteberria has agreed a move to Athletic Bilbao in the summer. The Spanish international, who has been in inspired form this season, is returning to the club he played for as a boy on an €8 million deal this summer. It puts paid to weeks of speculation linking him with moves to the Premier League, Bundesliga and Serie A.

Real Betis are likely to use the money from the deal in order to try lure Jozy Altidore back to Spain. The former Hull City striker failed during his previous stint with Villarreal but has been in inspired form this season for Eredivisie outfit AZ Alkmaar. The American international is expected to leave the club after they struggled in the league this term.

AS Monaco goalkeeper Danijel Subasic believes that a deal to see Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao arrive at the club is ‘90% done’. The Croatian international was speaking to press in his homeland when he revealed his belief in the deals being imminent.

Borussia Monchengladbach face a battle to hold on to Venezuelan international Juan Arango. The left-winger was recently voted ahead of the likes of Marco Reus and Franck Ribery in the Bundesliga team of the season and is reportedly ready to return to Spain this summer; however BMG seem sure they can keep hold of the player until the end of his contract in 2014.

Jordy Clasie has rejected yet another opportunity to sign for Italian Serie A outfit Fiorentina. The young Dutch international has been a long-term target for the Florence side and has also seen his name linked with Arsenal and Tottenham Premier League teams following his progress. However he is now set to sign a new contract extension at Feyenoord that will keep him at the club until 2016.

Juventus are after Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia. The Nerazzuri have however said he is not for sale meaning attentions may switch with Angelo Ogbonna also on the list of potential defensive reinforcements that Antonio Conte has in his sights.

Meanwhile the race for Argentine 20-year-old Ricardo Adrian Centurion has hotted up with the previously agreed deal between Anzhi Makhachkala and Racing Club set to be tested by interest from Europa League runners-up Benfica.
