Spanish radio is reporting that Monaco are keeping close tabs on Barcelona full-back Dani Alves. The principality club has been linked with numerous big names recently and Alves is just part of a long line of players linked with signing on with the Russian tycoon bankrolled club.

It seems that former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Borja Valero is all set for a move to Real Madrid this summer. The former Baggies midfielder is currently plying his trade for Italian outfit Fiorentina but has recently been the talk of much transfer rumour. The move comes after doubt was cast over the manager in waiting Carlo Ancelotti’s first choice Andrea Pirlo by the Madrid hierarchy; in particular reference to his advancing age.

Real Madrid may also see one of their star names leave the club as Angel Di Maria has once again been linked with an exit; this time to Italian champions Juventus. The Argentine international was recently linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain after reportedly falling out of favour at the Bernabeu.

Napoli are reportedly ready to try complete a sensational swap deal with Serie A rivals Inter Milan. It is believed that Napoli are after Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin; who only arrived at the Nerazzuri last summer. The report suggests they are prepared to offer Swiss international Gokhan Inler as part of any deal.

Sampdoria duo Pedro Obiang and Andrea Poli are both said to be transfer targets for Juventus. The 21-year-old and 23-year-old, respectively, midfielders could be used in a swap deal containing the likes of Richmond Boakye or Luca Marrone.

Barcelona are ready to release French international Eric Abidal. The inspirational defender has only recently returned from a year out after a liver transplant after complications arose from a previous tumour removal. He is expected to be offered a place on the coaching staff.

Thiago Alcantara is expected to leave Barcelona as well this summer. Mundo Deportivo report that the Catalan club are willing to listen to offers of around €25 million for the Brazilian midfield talent.
