If Arsenal had hoped this loan spell would help rid them of Nicklas Bendtner they have been proved wrong.
The Dane failed to seize his chances in Turin even prior to his cruciate knee ligament injury, and looks likely to head back to Arsenal imminently without a goal to his name.
Bendtner took to Twitter at the weekend to thank the Juventus fans for helping the club win the Scudetto, with the striker picking up a medal for his 'efforts'.
With the title won and the final game on Saturday night away to Sampdoria a 'dead rubber', the possibility of Bendtner making one final appearance has raised it's head.
The Danish international has recovered from his knee injury and has even featured on the bench for Juventus over the past month, but has not made it onto the pitch save for collecting his medal last weekend.
So Italian newspaper Tuttosport asked fans if they would be open to seeing either of Bendtner or former Gunner Nicolas Anelka start the final match.
Anelka signed for Juventus in January from Shanghai Shenhua but has barely featured, making just two Serie A appearances.
The response to the poll was pretty resounding;
More fans said they would like to see Anelka given an opportunity (15.6 per cent) than Bendtner (8.2 per cent), while just seven per cent said they would like to see both.
But the overwhelming majority voted decisively that they would like to see neither, with 68.4 per cent of fans indicating so.
Combined with the 15.6 per cent who said they just want to see Anelka and not Bendtner, that totals to 84 per cent of fans who do not want to see Bendtner given a start in the final match.
A pretty almighty snub, but perhaps he would think himself lucky. For even in a 'dead-rubber' match at Arsenal, we bet the figure who do not want to see Bendtner start sits somewhere between 99 per cent and 100 per cent.
Bendtner has one year left of his contract - What will become of him?
