New catachable monsters revealed for upcoming 3DS debut

Nintendo has unveiled more details about its upcoming Pokemon X and Y, revealing that players will roam around a France-like region and be able to use mounts.

The new region is Lumiose City, complete with what looks like a parody Eiffel Tower, which will house the various new Pokémon collectors will be scrambling to get.

Coming out this November, avid fans will be able to get their hands on four new Pokémon, Fletchling, a flying-tpe monster, the fighing-type Pancham and the cowardly-electic type Pokémon Helioptile.

“Pokémon X and Pokémon Y introduce a new method of transportation—riding the brand-new Pokémon, Gogoat,” read a statement from the company.

“This large Grass-type Pokémon is a reliable way to travel certain parts of Lumiose City. In battle, it can use Horn Leech to recover HP equal to half the damage dealt by this move.”

Pokémon X & Y represent the popular franchise's first outing on the new Nintendo hand-held, the 3DS, and could bolster the devices lacklustre sales as fans make the switch from the Nintendo DS.
