Dead Island Riptide

UK Charts ruled by zombie smashing game for third week running.

Dead Island: Riptide has held onto the top spot of the UK games charts for the week ended May 11th according to Chart Track.

Deep Silver's zombie action game has ruled the charts for three weeks now, an achievement matched only by critic-favourite BioShock Infinite.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II unexpectedly shot up the charts to second-place, from sixth last week, while Tomb Raider held onto its position at number three.

Warner Bros.' superhero fighting title Injustice: Gods Among Us slipped from number two to four, displacing FIFA 13 to number five.

Bioshock Infinite saw sales slip by 10% bringing it down to number six, while a recent price cut boosted Assassin's Creed III back into the Top 10 at number 7, according to Chart Track.

LEGO City Undercover held onto its position at number eight, while new entry Walking Dead broke in at number nine, and Luigi's Mansion 2 fell one spot to close off the top ten.
