Transfer talk: Featuring Benteke, Fellaini and Ferdinand

Everton, Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool all feature.

Maraoune Fellaini has been speaking about his future and David Moyes after the Everton managers exit. He has been linked with Moyes’ new team Manchester United this week and did little to diffuse those rumours by suggesting he still dreams of playing in the Champions League but also wants to continue in the Premier League.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be leading the race for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke this summer. The Belgian is now reportedly the clubs number one transfer target as they need striking reinforcements and see the 22-year-old as the perfect option. Arsenal are also said to be interested in the player rated at £20 million by Paul Lambert and his current club.

Interest in Rio Ferdinand has already begun with the England international defenders contract set to expire in the summer. His contract at Old Trafford was not renewed as United prepared for life post Ferguson and now teams from around the globe are reportedly approaching him about a potential £10 million deal at a new club. The clubs in question include two apiece from the Middle East and Russia while Galatasaray, Monaco and Flamengo are also interested in his signature.

And in other transfer news…

- Liverpool are being linked with Lille left-back talent Lucas Digne. The 19-year-old defender is valued at £8 million by the French outfit.

- Newcastle United have reportedly made the first move for Loic Remy. The French international is on his way out of QPR after their relegation and could sign for the team he rejected for Loftus Road.

-Frank Lampard claims he wants to stay at Chelsea. His contract expires in the summer but after breaking the clubs all-time scoring record he suggested he wants a stay.
