As Chelsea edge closer to securing a top four place, they are being linked with a whole raft of players this week.
Expect Chelsea to be one of the more active clubs in the transfer market again this summer, as they seek to back their next manager with all the funds he needs to turn them into title contender.
Predicted widely to be Jose Mourinho, the Blues dodged a bullet this week when at one stage it appeared he could become the next Manchester United boss.
Chelsea continue to be linked with players who would improve the club, and this week has been no different.
So we have ranked the top six players touted for a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Note: Players included in last week's list are not included. These are Xabi Alonso, Falcao, Robert Lewandowski, Kyriakos Papadopoulos, Viktor Fischer, and Lazar Markovic.
Here is this week's top six:
1) Frank Lampard
Yes, Chelsea have been linked with making a popular u-turn and re-signing Frank Lampard, with the midfielder himself saying he wants to carry on for four more years at the club. His contract expires this summer, and having become the club's all-time leading scorer at the weekend, no signing or transfer would be more welcome at Stamford Bridge than this one. Reports have claimed that Lampard's former and prospective new boss Jose Mourinho is more likely than not to renew his deal.
2) Wayne Rooney
It has been confirmed by no less than Sir Alex Ferguson that Wayne Rooney has handed in a transfer request at Manchester United, and while the Red Devils are reluctant to let him go, Chelsea are said to be frontrunners in the chase for his signature. If Rooney wants a chance to play back as an out and out centre-forward, he would get that chance at the Blues with playmakers at a premium and strikers low on numbers. Rooney at 28 has much to offer and his signature could represent a power shift.
3) Arda Turan
Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan was linked to Chelsea earlier this week, with reports in Turkey stating the Blues are ready to activate a 24 million release clause for his signature. Turan is a left-winger, able to drift inside, and has been a star at Atletico since signing from Galatasaray a couple of seasons back. He would be a fine addition, although fans may prefer to see Kevin de Bruyne given a chance instead.
4) Sami Khedira
With the option of Xabi Alonso off the table, it has today been claimed that Mourinho wants Sami Khedira to follow him to Chelsea from Real Madrid instead. Khedira is an experienced German international who would be an upgrade on Jon Obi Mikel and an ideal partner for Ramires if Lampard was to be moved on this summer instead of re-signed.
5) Andre Schurrle
Chelsea are still trying to sign Bayer Leverkusen forward Andre Schurrle, but negotiations could drag on until June, with the transfer very much dependent apparently on the future of Kevin de Bruyne. Schurrle is young at 22 and full of potential, and would likely spend his best years at Chelsea so they are wise to try and snap him up and still remain in pole position to do so.
6) Alexis Sanchez
Reports in Spain have linked Chelsea with a transfer for Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez, with the Spanish club trying to sign Thibaut Courtois in part-exchange. It's difficult to see this one coming off because Chelsea don't want to let Courtois go permanently, while Sanchez is not necessarily an improvement on the attacking players already at their disposal, with his age and potential price tag higher than they would like.
