Manchester United's big news has confused a number of young music fans.
Football is a global game, but that doesn't mean everybody has to follow it.
But when a huge news story like Sir Alex Ferguson retiring hits the agenda, those unfamiliar with football struggle to catch up.
That's been highlighted by Twitter users today, who have taken a while to cotton onto the fact that 'Fergie' is Sir Alex Ferguson, not the female vocalist in band The Black Eyed Peas.
While a number of Tweeters were busy making relatively unfunny jokes about the two Fergie's, there were also others who were genuinely mixed up.
