Prospective Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho showed his calm and collected side in Madrid yesterday, even if his assistant did not.
Even if you are the 'Special One', life in the spotlight can't be easy.
For Jose Mourinho, a trip yesterday to furniture store Ikea made headlines, with assertions this is somehow proof he is on the move away from Madrid. And now this:
The video below shows a car driven by Mourinho's assistant, Rui Faria, who pulls over to confront fans who were supposedly insulting the Portuguese manager, reported newspaper El Mundo Deportivo.
Faria pulled over and got out of the car to try to find the fans responsible for the insults he could hear outside the Madrid training complex.
Mourinho meanwhile simply sits in the car, calm as anything, while a dozen or so other fans seize their opportunity to take his photo close-up.
A sign of tension in Madrid? For sure, but this kind of controversy has a knack of following Mourinho around wherever he goes...
