Manchester United have been linked with signing Colombian youngster Juan Fernando Quintero. The attacker plays for Italian side Pescara on loan from his his homeland side Atletico Nacional. The 20-year-old caught United's attention at the recent South American under-20 championships and the Mail claims the Red Devils are lining up a summer swoop as a cheaper alternative to James Rodriguez.

Surprise reports have suggested that Everton's David Moyes is in contention to become Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant at Manchester United next season. Moyes' contract is up at the end of the season and he is yet to announce his plans, and the bookies have 'slashed their odds' on the Scot making the move amid a 'flurry of overnight bets.' It is all speculation at this point, but it is certainly a talking point heading into the off-season.
