Ex-Manchester United prodigy ruins Serie A title celebrations

Paul Pogba received his marching orders as Juventus were crowned Serie A champions.

Juventus are the Serie A champions once again after an Arturo Vidal penalty kick proved enough to beat relegation threatened Palermo and stretch their lead ahead of Napoli to an insurmountable level.

So first of all, before we move on to the incredulity to be aimed at the former Manchester United prodigy, we must congratulate the Old Lady on yet another title win. It has been an eventful season in Turin with Antonio Conte sitting out a period of time with a suspension for match-fixing and an inability to bring in the centre forward they wanted with Robin Van Persie, Luis Suarez and Stevan Jovetic not coming their way; Fernando Llorente arrives in the summer to strengthen their attacking options.

But one player who has been a marvellous addition to the side has been Paul Pogba. He arrived as not even a fringe player at United and quickly established himself in the first team squad and his form has even seen him make his debut for the French national team; where he also got sent off in his second appearance for Les Bleus.

However he managed to bring a downer to the occasion as he reacted to Salvatore Aronica’s hand-off in impetuous fashion; spitting at the veteran Italian and former Juve youth team prospect.

While it is difficult to see exactly what happened in the video below it is pretty clear he was a guilty party:

Manchester United fans were not happy with the way he left the club in the summer and will be extremely happy to see him suffering; despite his team’s success.

Manchester United have not had a single player sent off in the Premier League this season so maybe it was for the best that the young lad moved on to Serie A.

Imagine if he had done that when RVP smashed a hat-trick past Aston Villa? He would have received a rather ironic hairdryer for sure.
