Arsenal have as always been linked with a number of players this week, but who is the best?
Arsene Wenger has not been shy about the fact he has money to spend this summer, but how much of it he will use is anybody's guess.
What we do know is that a high number of players have been linked with a move to the Emirates and this week is no different.
Here is a look at six players suggested as Gunners targets over the past week, and our ranking of them in order, see if you agree and let us know...
1) Stevan Jovetic
Another week, another bout of Jovetic-to-Arsenal rumours, with one spurious report claiming a deal is already done. The Montenegro attacker really would be a superb signing, due to his age of 23 and potential to spend his peak years at the club. His versatility to drop deep means he would be ideal to work with wannabe-strikers Podolski and Walcott, and while Juventus have today been reported to have stepped up their enquiries about him, Fiorentina would prefer to sell abroad.
2) Gonzalo Higuain
Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has confirmed he will leave Real Madrid, placing a number of Premier League teams on high alert. The Argentine international is said to be interesting Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester City, write the Mail, although there is little concrete evidence as to Arsenal making a move. His experience means he is a ready-to-plug-in-and-go goalscorer, although older and less versatile than Jovetic, he would be an upgrade on Olivier Giroud.
3) Cesc Fabregas
Arsenal fans may feel Fabregas should be at the top of this list, but such is the club's need for a striker, the previous two targets are ranked higher. The Barcelona midfielder was linked back with the Gunners after his property interest in a London flat was revealed, and then the Spaniard refused to deny that a move was on the agenda when quizzed yesterday. The midfielder certainly would boost the Gunners' already impressive midfield.
4) Maxime Gonalons
Perhaps a midfielder Arsenal need more than Fabregas, albeit without the star quality, Maxime Gonalons would solve the problem the club have in the defensive midfield spot. The Frenchman plays for Lyon and scored against Tottenham in the Europa League earlier this year, and is claimed to be subject to an enquiry from the Gunners. He would cost anywhere between £10 million and £15 million.
5) Julio Cesar
We suspect this one is purely agent talk, but Julio Cesar is on the market and Arsenal have been linked with his signature. It would be convenient for the stopper as he would just have to move across London from relegated QPR, but the former Brazilian international would have the quality and experience to teach Wojciech Szczesny a thing or two.
6) Michel Vorm
Another one from the Metro, Arsenal have today been linked with Michel Vorm and not for the first time. The Swansea 'keeper is said to be open to offers, and although while younger than Cesar at 29 compared to 33, he does not possess the experience of Champions League football that the QPR man could bring.
Which of the six is your 'most wanted'?
