Real Madrid dominate the landscape this Friday with former Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool players all linked with an exit while Manchester United and Manchester City may lose out on one player.
Following reports that Jose Mourinho has agreed to become the next manager of Chelsea for a second stint there is now talk of a mass exodus at Real Madrid. The rumour mill has started to churn in the direction of Fabio Coentrao, Angel Di Maria, Gonzalo Higuain, Ricardo Carvalho, Pepe and Alvaro Arbeloa as players all set to be moved on for new recruits this summer.
Reports in Italy suggest strongly that Luka Modric is wanted by Serie A side Inter Milan next season on a season-long loan ahead of a permanent deal in the summer of 2014. The Croatian international has not been a regular starter this season at the Bernabeu but in recent weeks has improved in form. However, with Mourinho set to leave, many Madrid players are being linked with the exit door; the former Tottenham man being just one.
Staying with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-German look like being the favourites for Argentine international Angel Di Maria. Manchester United and Manchester City are said to also be interested but the winger is said to favour a move to PSG where he can team up with international team-mates Javier Pastore and Ezequiel Lavezzi, reports Marca.
Bayer Leverkusen appear to have brought a replacement for Chelsea bound Andre Schurrle after agreeing a deal for Australian international Robbie Kruse. The 24-year-old Fortuna Dusseldorf forward joins for €1.5 million.
Parma’s Brazilian-Italian striker Amauri’s agent has confirmed his client would be interested in a move to Lazio. The 32-year old has rediscovered his form this campaign and is looking for a move.
Finally and the long drawn out attempts to sign Mattheus, the son of Brazilian legend Bebeto, by Juventus have finally been finalised. The 18-year-old will join The Old Lady from Flamengo this summer.
