Former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt could make a shock return to the Premier League, it is being claimed by The Mirror. The newspaper report that the Fenerbahce ace is interesting newly promoted Cardiff City, who want experience to add to their talented side. Kuyt could be re-united with former Reds teammate Craig Bellamy if he made the move, but would have to give up European football, with him featuring in the Europa League semi-final for his Turkish side against Benfica. The paper claim Cardiff are also targeting Scott Sinclair despite his Swansea connections.
More Welsh connected news, and it features Alvaro Negredo - for he is interesting Swansea City. Wales Online claim that Michael Laudrup is keen on the Sevilla striker, who has this year been linked with Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton. Sevilla are open to a sale at the right price, and Negredo is certainly in form, bagging 18 goals this season. It is claimed Negredo is top of Swansea's shopping list, with Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas close behind.
A new name has been linked with filling the goalkeeper jersey at Arsenal and that is Lazio stopper Federico Marchetti. The 30-year-old is an Italian international and featured in Lazio's Europa League run to the quarter-finals. Arsenal are said to be keen on an offer for the experienced goalkeeper, but could be stopped in their tracks by Lazio's reluctance to sell.
