Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says he feels bitterly disappointed over the ten game ban handed to striker Luis Suarez. Suarez will miss the rest of the season and the start of next season after being punished for biting Branislav Ivanovic in the match against Chelsea last weekend.
Brendan Rodgers has played down concerns over the shoulder injury to captain Steven Gerrard. Reports earlier in the week suggested Gerrard would need an operation on a shoulder problem at the end of the season, which Rodgers has dismissed.
