Younes Belhanda is an exciting playmaker who is unsurprisingly on the radar of many of Europe's top clubs, including Premier League duo and bitter rivals, Arsenal and Tottenham.
He currently plays in France's Ligue One for Montpellier, but it is unlikely he will do so for much longer.
Outspoken club president Louis Nicollin has re-affirmed his stance the Moroccan is likely to leave this summer, admitting he can no longer afford to keep him.
He said: "Belhanda really wants to leave. For him there are currently at least 10 or 11 teams (interested).
"He's a boy that I love, but after the title has demanded a huge salary, and the next year, due to the lack of the Champions League, we can no longer guarantee it."
Belhanda was a key part of Montpellier's title winning side of 2011/12, scoring 12 goals for the club as they beat big-spending PSG to the title.
This season the club have not enjoyed the same success, having sold top scorer Olivier Giroud to Arsenal last summer, and defensive lynchpin Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa to Newcastle, Montpellier currently sit in eighth.
Despite their poor form, Belhanda has remained consistent, a big threat for the side, but clearly wants to test himself at a higher level and get a big payday.
At 23-years-old, he is an excellent prospect to improve further in the future, and given Montpellier are to expect a European television revenue shortfall, they are not in a position of financial strength.
He would likely cost just under £10 million, and will arrive with the confidence of bagging 10 league goals and five assists, having also scored two and made another in the Champions League.
Belhanda is an interesting target for Spurs, because he can play behind the striker and allow Lewis Holtby to drop deeper into midfield, while at Arsenal he can link up with former teammate Olivier Giroud.
His current contract expires in just one year, and there are a number of clubs monitoring him It may depend which of Arsenal or Spurs achieve a top four place as to who takes the bigger interest, but whoever does may just have a superb player on their hands.
