Luis Suarez gave a perfect illustration about everything positive and negative about his game in the draw against Chelsea yesterday.
The pressing question from yesterday’s game between Liverpool and Chelsea actually came during the 90 minutes when Branislav Ivanovic found himself asking; hang on, is there someone biting me?
Just why Suarez went for a little nibble on Ivanovic’s arm is a bit of a mystery but it was a cast iron example of why Suarez has plenty of people across England, who would rather see him playing football in another country.
Add it to the list because there have been plenty of examples of negativity while he’s been in England and there are bound to be a couple more incidents, with him now having shown just what he’s capable of.
He got back some of the glory he lost with that action, by scoring Liverpool’s late equaliser which keeps them in the hunt for an automatic Europa League slot for next season.
Liverpool fans won’t care one bit if he goes around trying to give Mike Tyson a run for his money, if it means that he continues to score more crucial goals for the club as he closes in on that Premier League golden boot.
The FA will most likely look into this incident and he’ll probably get a ban, which will leave Liverpool needlessly without their best striker, who continues to be tipped with a move away from England this summer.
Take a look at the bite and goal;
What do you make of each?
