Shinji Kagawa seems to be making quite a habit out of this TV advertising acting lark. If he’s not taking on nine players at the same time, he’s setting up a dog to score a brilliant headed goal.
Yes, you read that correctly. In this bonkers Japanese advert he seems to be playing some sort of Dr. Dolittle role involving a dolphin and a dog, which some how the producers have worked into his football skills.
Product endorsements are not uncommon with professional athletes all over the world starring in various TV ads for a bit of extra cash on the side of their sporting careers.
However, it’s the bizarre nature of this ad which puts it up there as one of the weirdest adverts you are ever likely to see. It’s really difficult to explain just how odd it is.
Fortunately for United fans, in real life there isn’t the chance that a dolphin would make him miss an open goal.
Take a look;
Have you seen a stranger ad involving a footballer?
