Arsenal have decided to appeal Olivier Giroud's red card received against Fulham, in the hope the striker could be available to face Manchester United on Saturday. The FA will rule on their decision tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday 25). If the appeal is unsuccessful the Frenchman faces a three-match ban, ruling him out of all of Arsenal's remaining games, barring the final day visit to Newcastle.
Giroud's former teammate at Montpellier, Younes Belhanda, is certain to leave the club this summer, his club president confirmed. Belhanda has just one year remaining on his contract, and the club are unable to offer him one at the wages he is demanding. Montpellier are currently eighth in Ligue One.
