At one stage it was reported that Arsenal were going to bring back Thierry Henry in January, as they did at the beginning of 2012.
It did not materialise, with Arsene Wenger seemingly closing the chapter on the star's playing career at the club.
Over in America, Henry is displaying he is as lethal as ever, witnessed by this breathtaking turn of pace in New York Red Bulls latest match.
Henry scored the third in a 4-1 victory over New England Revolution, with a trademark finish.
He may be 35, but he is clearly still in spectacular condition, being able to leave defenders trailing in his dust like Wile E. Coyote.
