Spurs may have a boost ahead of their crucial Premier League home encounter with Manchester CIty this weekend, after the visitor's assistant boss David Platt admitted his side were battling 'mental fatigue' after playing big games against Manchester United and Chelsea last week. Spurs had last weekend off and will hope they can use their rest to their advantage in Sunday's 4pm kick-off.
Meanwhile Sergio Aguero, who could have missed the encounter through suspension but is now free to play, has a fitness battle to contend with, after it was revealed he is nursing a minor hamstring strain. City are not yet ruling him out, and will see how his injury heals ahead of Sunday.
