Jose Mourinho 'lets slip' Chelsea move

Has Jose Mourinho admitted he has agreed a deal to manage Chelsea next season?

Reports regarding the future of Jose Mourinho have advanced dramatically over the past 24 hours.

It began yesterday when the 'Special One' caught a 6.45am flight to London, before arriving back in Madrid to take an afternoon training session with his players.

The reason for his visit was unspecified, with it claimed it was due to one of his children's schooling, but later reports have hinted this could just be a cover.

Spanish radio show Punto Pelota are today reporting that a day before, on Monday, Mourinho let it slip that he had agreed a deal to manage Chelsea next season.

He was giving a talk at his son's youth football club, SD Canillas to parents, and afterwards he was asked if he would be returning next year to do the same.

"(To) come next year will be difficult. Next year will not be here." - Mourinho is claimed to have said.

But the significant development came afterwards; Mourinho was showing acquaintances pictures, when he pointed to a Chelsea team bus and said that is where he will be next year.

The report has been picked up in his native Portugal, by one of the biggest newspapers O Jogo who are claiming the report is confirmation from the horses mouth at Mourinho's plans.

It may very well be true, but without the exchange on record, video or recording, it is impossible to verify.

The source, Punto Pelota, previously claimed Roman Abramovich gave Mourinho a 400,000 Euro watch by way of a peace offering between the pair.

We are simply relaying what has been claimed in Spain on the manager, it's best to urge caution in taking it as fact, but it could well be that the usually secretive Mourinho has indeed let slip the best bit of news Chelsea fans could have asked for.
